AgCarolina Farm Credit recently announced their 2022 scholarship winners. This year, AgCarolina Farm Credit distributed over $22,000 in local scholarships to deserving students to a variety of scholarship opportunities including a local high school scholarship awarded to high school seniors who reside in, or are connected to, an agricultural operation in a county served by AgCarolina Farm Credit. Additional scholarships distributed to support academic excellence, community involvement and leadership for students committed to southeastern North Carolina agriculture and rural communities include N.C. 4-H, N.C. FFA, AgYouth Leadership, and diversity. To expand AgCarolina Farm Credit’s commitment to the next generation of agriculture, a new scholarship was added for this year’s distribution to support students within college.
AgCarolina Farm Credit awarded five different scholarships to twelve deserving students including their College At-Large Scholarship, FFA & 4-H Scholarship, High School At-Large Scholarship, Diversity Scholarship, and AgYouth Leadership Scholarship.
