Fayetteville, N.C.— Three southeastern North Carolina agribusiness leaders were recently elected to fill positions on the Board of Directors of AgCarolina Farm Credit. Michael E. Inman of Bladen County, Ruby W. Bullard of Cumberland County and Paul Maguire of Cumberland County were elected to serve as Directors for the Association.
Mr. Michael E. Inman has been a resident of Bladen County for 56 years. He has worked with Prestage Farms, Inc. for more than 30 years in various roles, serving as a service technician for the past five years. He has farmed for 30 years and his operation consists of swine, hay, peanuts, corn and soybeans. Mr. Inman has been a Farm Credit member for 23 years during which he has served as an advisory board member for the Elizabethtown branch. He also serves as a board member for the following organizations: North Carolina Pork Council, Bladen County Livestock Association, Bladen County Extension Service Advisory Board and Tar Heel Dixie Youth Baseball.
Mrs. Ruby W. Bullard has been a resident of Cumberland County for 30 years. In addition to farming, she has been an attorney for more than 30 years. Mrs. Bullard’s farming operation consists of corn, cotton, soybeans and timber. She has been a Farm Credit member for 30 years. Mrs. Bullard also serves as a board member for Salem United Methodist Church in Eastover, N.C.
Mr. Paul Maguire has been a resident of Cumberland County for 33 years. He has farmed all of his adult life and his operation consists of a beef cow-calf herd, hay, timber and a turkey brooder hub. Mr. Maguire has been a Farm Credit member for 12 years during which he has served as a Director for eight years. He also serves as a board member for the following organizations: Cumberland County Livestock Association and the Cumberland County Extension Service advisory board.
The membership also elected voting stockholders to serve on the 2023 Nominating Committee. Elected to represent Region One which includes Duplin, Pender, Bladen, Brunswick and New Hanover Counties is Channing R. Gooden. of Elizabethtown, NC and George W. Mote Jr. of Harrells, NC. Elected to represent Region Two which is Sampson and Harnett Counties is Alan J. Parker of Clinton, NC and Krystal M. Tyndall. of Autryville, NC. Elected to represent Region Three which includes Cumberland, Columbus, Scotland, Robeson and Hoke Counties is Michael W. Herndon of Parkton, NC and Lacy L. Cummings of Pembroke, NC. Elected to represent the membership at-large is Randy A. Joyner of Godwin, NC and Mark W. Daughtry of Clinton, NC.
